collecting email addresses
We collect the email addresses of BoltFile recipients and senders for the purpose of logging and measuring usage.
BoltFile does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with any 3rd party organization.
identifying and logging ip addresses
The BoltFile service does not recognise any information regarding the IP address or host name of computers accessing
the service. IP addresses and host names are only logged when recipients retrieve files sent with the
delivery tracking and reporting
feature enabled. This feature allows the sender of the files to view from which IP address/host name the recipient retrieved the files. This information is
erased from the BoltFile service when the associated files expire.
In addition BoltFile logs the IP address/host name of computers accessing the service for the purpose of measuring usage and load.
security
BoltFile takes data security very seriously and has appropriate physical and logical security measures in place at all facilities
to protect against loss, misuse or alteration of data sent to and from the service.
Files sent via the BoltFile service are only accessible for download via the link provided to your recipients, and all files are physically
deleted from the BoltFile service when they expire.

cookies
The BoltFile service uses cookies to store information on user preferences, for the purpose of improving and making the service quicker to use.
At all points at which cookies are stored, the user is given the option to disallow.
advertising partners
For non-paid accounts (i.e.
the BoltFile Lite Account)
we may engage with 3rd party advertising providers to serve non-obtrusive advertising whilst you use the BoltFile service.
These 3rd parties will use information regarding your use of the service to tailer the advertising displayed. No personal information (i.e. name, email address or telephone number)
will be used. As part of the process of serving advertising to the BoltFile service these 3rd parties may utilize a cookie stored on your machine.
disclosure of information
If instructed by a law enforcement agency, or if we receive legal instruction to do so, we may disclose your information, and information
related to files sent and stored on the BoltFile service if necessary to protect our legal rights and to comply with all applicable laws.
